National Children's home (modern) 1

Newton Hall (now 'Kingsley Green nr Lady Hayes) was established by by the NCH (National Children’s Homes). The NCH (National Children's Homes) was started in 1869 by Dr Thomas Bowman Stephenson with its motto "Need not creed" and was taken over by the Methodist Church in 1871. It is now a private residential development.
